Day 2 Baby!!

Day 2

Today was a great day. It just so happened to be the first day we could shower, which means my hair was no longer greasy. We woke up, ate breakfast, and went to the museum. Turns out, cops in New Zealand are nice and like to take pictures with Americans. There was also a car race around the museum, which was pretty fun to watch for a bit. Going to the museum was a good experience because we got the learn more about the culture. After this we got some lunch. There were about five different places in the Asian food court where we went to eat; none of them could feed Dani because she pretty much only eats rice here. The rest of us were fine. After this we went to a crater, where Patti didn’t quite understand that the crater was the crater of a volcano…good times.

Driving on the left side of the road is new to most of us, including our driver Sam. At times we fear for our lives, especially when we scream (like Dani, aka Princess), slam on the brakes, and fly forward tackling Jaicee.

After all the festivities, we had a match against a select team from NZ. We won in four games. The girls were super nice, and we look lots of pictures with them. After the match we went to the only two open places on the entire island, which happened to be McDonalds and KFC.

Peace, Love, and Cupcakes

Love, Kat
